I worked on an Object oriented, multi platform Application Systems builder for IBM development in coordination with Microsoft.
Contrary to popular opinion at this time (post 1990) IBM and Microsoft still had close cooperation in the area of Software. IBM and Microsoft had a cross licensing agreement for OS/2 source code.
This role was one of four key developers designing and coding a Windows version of the established OS/2 product. As such we made use of the IBM C and Microsoft C compilers along with customised Intel 8086 assembler programming via masm In the process I, C Coded parts of the IBM OS/2 compatibility API for DOS and Microsoft Windows.
